Dive into the exciting realm of cannabis botany with the Cannabis Sativa – Intro to Botany course. This course will examine the plant from a biological perspective to provide a better understanding on a botanical level. We will learn how to differentiate the 3 main species of cannabis and identify the full anatomy of the plant from seed to flower. The varying life cycle, systems, and other elements of the plant will be discussed in depth and allow students a full grasp on what makes cannabis thrive in nature and how we have adapted the plant for human consumption.

Cannabis Sativa & Chemical Compounds

The Cannabis Sativa & Chemical Compounds course will provide a functional knowledge of what makes up the cannabis plant on a chemical level. The course will examine each of the chemical constituents of the plant and how these contribute to its various life cycles. Students will take a look at the primary and secondary compounds that exist within the plant, the characteristics of each, and how they affect the plant during its growth stages and after harvest. The course will provide the basic understanding of cannabis from a botanical, anatomical, and chemical level.

Cannabis Sativa – Plant Anatomy

Learn everything there is to know about the cannabis plant from the inside out with the Cannabis Sativa – Plant Anatomy course. The anatomy of cannabis is an ever important aspect of its development and relationship with humans and this course will instruct and educate participants on each and every aspect in this regard. From topicals to tinctures and everything in between, the world of cannabis concentrates is ever expanding and this course will provide participants with a full understanding of their importance and use.

Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

The Delta-9-tetrahdrocannabinol (THC) course will focus on one of the most common and popular cannabinoids. Known primarily for its psychoactive effects, THC has traditionally been one of the most studied and better understood compounds within the cannabis plant. This course will highlight the cannabinoids properties and how it works within the endocannabinoid system to cause the many effects that common cannabis consumption is known for. The course will also dive into the growing medical knowledge and many benefits of THC.

Cannabidiol (CBD)

Gain an expert understanding of one of the most used and in demand compounds of the cannabis plant with the Cannabidiol (CBD) course. This course will dive into the history of research and study into CBD alongside the many amazing benefits it has been shown to exhibit for a wide variety of conditions. Through its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, CBD has a wide potential for common use. New medical and preclinical studies have shown many other amazing and in-depth effects on serious conditions such as seizures and psychosis. This course will give insight into the growing and ever-popular realm of CBD.

Cannabichromene (CBC)

Insight and research into lesser known cannabinoids can provide an advantage for anyone interested in cannabis or involved within the industry. The Cannabichromene (CBC) course will provide participants with breakthroughs and developments into this compound produced in the juvenile phase of the cannabis plant and the many potential benefits and uses it possesses. Preclinical studies show a wide variety of uses for CBC and this course will take an in-depth look at many of them.

Cannabigerol (GBG)

Of the lesser known cannabinoids, cannabigerol is proving to be intriguing and of interest for its many different potential uses and unique interaction within the endocannabinoid system. The Cannabigerol (CBG) course is dedicated exclusively to this compound and will take a full look at its structure and the many potential uses it displays. Early studies of CBG have shown great promise for treating serious conditions such as certain types of cancer and this course will illuminate much of the cutting edge research currently being conducted in regards to CBG.

Cannabinol

Insight and research into lesser known cannabinoids can provide an advantage for anyone interested in cannabis or involved within the industry. The Cannabinol (CBN) course will provide participants with breakthroughs and developments into this compound produced in the juvenile phase of the cannabis plant and the many potential benefits and uses it possesses. Preclinical studies show a wide variety of uses for CBN and this course will take an in-depth look at many of them.

Beyond Common Cannabinoids

Dive deep into a better understanding of the cannabis plants and the way in which its chemical compounds effect the human body. The Beyond Common Cannabinoids course will examine many of the compounds found within the plant that do not receive as much attention from mainstream knowledge and understanding. The course will examine acidic cannabinoids which are the precursors to many of the cannabinoids most are familiar with as well as describe in detail the benefits and interactions terpenes and flavonoids have. Participants will learn the benefits of these compounds and how they interact within the plant and upon consumption.

Entourage Effect

Gain a powerful understanding of how the many compounds found within the cannabis plant encourage and interact with one another in the Entourage Effect course. Evidence is showing that when different cannabinoids are used in conjunction with one another rather than as isolated compounds, an entourage effect occurs which amplifies potential benefits and uses. Become well aware of how the effect occurs and the potential benefits that can exists when multiple cannabinoids are used in a symbiotic fashion.

The Endocannabinoid System

Nearly every living organism has an endocannabinoid system (ECS). The Endocannabinoid System course will examine this complex biological system and how it utilizes the compounds found within cannabis. Participants will learn how to define the ECS, the role the system plays within the body and the components that make up the system as a whole. They will also learn how common cannabinoids such as CBD and THC are utilized by the ECS and how critical of a role the system plays within the human body.
